NGC 4945, a distorted near edge-on dusty spiral galaxy itself obscured by Milky Way dust, giving it an orange overall colour.
The very bright blue star at 4 o'clock is xi 1 Centauri, spectral class A0. Xi 2 is just off-frame.
See also the irregular galaxy hidden behind the bright star toward 8 o'clock, and the still more distant spiral close in toward 2 o'clock. The latter's brightness has been locally enhanced for clarity. Despite the obscuring Milky Way material, many other tiny background galaxies are visible.
