M83 and supernova
M83 is a beautiful face-on spiral between the arms of Virgo. There is a supernova: a conspicuously bright blue dot about half-way toward the 2 o'clock edge of the galaxy.

Field 42 min arc, North up. Lum: 6h30 in 30 min subs; RGB 2h10 each, mostly in 15 min subs.
